6mm dark green tempered glass is made of 6mm dark green float glass. It’s produced by cutting the 6mm dark green float glass into customized size and cold treatment processing such as grinding edge or drilling holes, etc. And then let the glass pass into tempered furnace, which the temperature is nearly glass softening point of 700 degrees, then cooled rapidly. After being tempered, the glass sheets would be about 4~5 times harder than before. What’s more,it would be more secure than before, because the glass sheet will become small particles with blunt edges when it’s broken, so that it can reduce the injury to people. Because of this feature, the tempered glass has been widely used.
Please note that tempered glass can not be cut any more, even grinding edges, or other processing. Thus all design details of toughened glass must be confirmed before mass production. Like edge polishing, drilling holes, cut outs, etc.
