This modern commercial center in Ecuador showcases a stunning architectural design featuring high-performance curved and flat glass facades. To balance aesthetics, energy efficiency, and safety, the project utilizes a combination of premium Low-E laminated glass and Low-E insulated glass units (IGUs).
The custom-engineered curved Low-E glass seamlessly wraps around the building’s corners, creating a sleek, fluid visual effect while maximizing natural daylight. By implementing advanced Low-E coatings, the building significantly reduces solar heat gain and UV transmission, lowering cooling costs in Ecuador's tropical climate. The integration of laminated glass ensures exceptional structural safety and acoustic insulation, while the insulated glass provides superior thermal performance. This project stands as a prime example of combining complex geometric glass processing with sustainable architectural design.
Type of glass used for this project:
4+4mm 5+5mm flat low-e laminated glass
6+12A+6mm low-e tempered insulated glass (Both flat and curved)
6+12A+11.52mm ceramic frit dots tempered laminated insulated glass with irregular shape
Total quantity is 4795SQM
