New truck load limitation in China!!! --- Maximum 25 tons for 40'GP, discontinue 40'HQ!

On Sep 21, 2016, China government announced new policy on truck load in mainland. 

This new policy effected a lot for heavy products exportation, especially for building materials industries like ceramics, glass, cement, stainless steel... The detailed weight limitation of each container type as below:

1.   20ft container 
Gross weight over 10 tons can not be mixed with other products. 

2. 40ft container, GP & HQ
Weight limiattion 25 tons.

3. 40ft HQ container
Discontinued temporary for its height and weight, wait for further announcement from goverment. 

To our clients, this new policy may cause purchase cost increased for below reason:
1)  the transportation cost will be increased immediately. 
2)  weight limitation caused less glass loaded in each container, the average cost of local charges is so increased.
