What’s the characteristic of low e laminated glass?

The effect of LOW-E glass low-radiation control by glass surface coating material and glass surface state.
According to the basic principle of thermal radiation, heat radiation occurs only on the surface of the object, and has nothing to do with the internal state. So if the LOW-E film and PVB combined, equivalent to low-radiation film and covered with a layer of high emissivity material. The low-radiation performance of low e laminated glass is lost, replaced by the high emissivity of the glass (about 0.84). Therefore, although low e laminated glass do not have far-infrared reflection function, but it has a certain function of shading, that is, if the LOW-E film is in direct connect with the PVB film, the LOW-E glass has only the characteristics of the laminated glass and the uniformity color of the whole glass curtain wall but without the function of low-radiation. 
In the production of low e laminated glass, off-line LOW-E glass surface must be placed in 2 or 3 surface, combined with the PVB film. Otherwise, the LOW-E film will be in oxidation. If placed in 4 surface, LOW-E film will damage in hot-pressing process, and seriously affect the low-radiation function. On-line LOW-E, due to its unique production process nature, can be placed in surface 4 to sandwich the production process, and has low-radiation function. 
If place low e film in 1 surface, the low e film will change by the connect of rain and dust. Therefore, once the surface covered with other substances, such as water vapor, condensate, dust, LOW-E layer of low-radiation function will lost and its original low emissivity will completely disappear, replaced by the emissivity of the water or the emissivity of the glass. The emissivity of water is close to 1, hardly reflecting the infrared ray. Instead absorbing the infrared ray, and will enhance the ability of far infrared energy  reflect or radiate from cold outdoor. With time pass by,  will reduce the low-radiation function. We have shipped many 10.38mm low e laminated glass to abroad.
