Clear Float Glass is made by high end quality sand, natural ores and chemical materials, and so on, by mixing and melting them at high temperature, the temperature of clear float glass furnace can up to 1580℃~1600℃, to eliminate the bubbles in the glass. The floating molten glass on a tin bath where the float glass is spread, polished and formed on the molten tin. And this method gives the clear flat glass have uniform thickness and very flat surfaces. When it leaves the tin bath, the glass has cooled down sufficiently to be passed to an annealing chamber called a lehr, anneal temperature is 550℃~570℃.Here it is cooled at controlled temperatures, until it is essentially at room temperature. That is why float glass also called Anneal Glass.
