In this section, 19.52mm Low Iron Heat Strengthened Low E Planibel G Glass is a very useful combination, which has been applied to glass facade system or glass curtain wall construction. Here Planibel G is a hard-coating Low E glass, which is also called low emissivity glass. The Low-E coating is applied on a substrate of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called CVD (chemical vapor deposition) method. In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back inside of the building to prevent loss and keep the indoor climate at an even temperature. In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat into the building thereby keeping indoor cooler. Total heat gain is reduced.
